     No inspiration, at all. I just saw the images and started piecing them together.

   my thoughts ;;
     Colors! Not very bright colors, but still there. I'm happy in a way with how this came out.

   work stats ;;
     I actually worked on this image a total of four days, off and on. Most of the middle two days was spent on the mane/tail. Yes, they are different! I keep trying to improve my artwork, which means that some things are constantly changing. It just so happens the past several weeks have been spent on improving manes/tails, which are very noticeable in images. Overall, I'm very happy with how they look here. A little bit softer (not much) next time and I may be satisfied... then there will be months of just practicing over and over with the style.

Oh, right, what I did. Cutout horse, paste horse, adjust colors on horse, smudge horse. Paint in new mane/tail, fiddle much with new mane and tail. Blend horse into background, blend some more because rocks are not fun to work with. Paint in more fog. Add in "cosmos" for some texture at the top of the image. Add in multiple layers for colors and effects. Add in text.
